What we do
Measure first
We record your current numbers in PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals (the page speed measures Google looks at), and pin down where the time is going.
Lighter images
Oversized images are resized and converted to suitable formats. Images also wait to load until they're about to scroll into view.
Switch off what isn't used
We stop unneeded plugins and scripts that load on every page. This is usually where the biggest gains are.
Caching and hosting
We set up caching properly. If the hosting is what's holding you back, we may suggest a move.
Before and after, side by side
We measure again under the same conditions and put the before and after numbers in a report.

It depends on how the site is built, so we don't promise a number before we start. After measuring, we'll give you our estimate of how far it's likely to go.
Will the design change?
Generally, no. If a heavy animation or effect is worth slimming down, we'll talk to you first.
