You like how your site looks, but what's under the hood is old and it worries you. We replace the foundations. Old PHP, abandoned plugins and heavy page builders get sorted out, and you end up with a site that's fast and easier to keep secure.

What we do
Move to PHP 8.x
An old version of PHP no longer gets security fixes. We move you to a currently supported version, testing as we go.
Clean up plugins
We check what each plugin does, one by one, and remove any that are unused, no longer updated, or have known vulnerabilities. Features you need are replaced with lighter options.
Replace the heavy builder
Pages made with a heavy page builder are rebuilt in Bricks, which is much lighter. They're built to match your current design.
Move to better hosting
We move the site to hosting with staging, daily backups and a WAF (a filter that blocks malicious traffic). The contract is set up in your name.
Make it easy to edit
We set things up so you can post news and swap photos without getting lost, and give you a short walkthrough.

Free check and review
We run the outside check, then, with your permission, review the site from the inside.

Quote and work
We list everything we plan to replace and quote for it. The work is done on a copy, and the live site is switched over at the end.

Before and after, then maintenance
We show you page speed and plugin count before and after. From there, monthly maintenance keeps it in shape.
What stays with you
- Your current design, and all your existing posts and pages
- Your domain, hosting, and licences such as Bricks, all in your name
- The administrator account, and a record of the work done
- Whether you continue with maintenance is up to you. There's no minimum term
FAQ
Will the site really look the same?
We rebuild it to match your current design. If there are dated parts you'd like to change, we'll ask what you want before touching them.
Will the site go down during the work?
No. We work on a copy, so visitors see the site as normal. The switch-over happens at a quiet time of day.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of pages and plugins, so we quote after the check. As a guide, from ¥220,000.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the site, but usually 4 to 8 weeks. We give you a schedule along with the quote.
